What It Is
We’re proud to participate in InterNACHI®’s “We’ll Buy Your Home” Guarantee. When Moonlight Home Inspections® performs your home inspection, and you uncover a defect that was both present at the time of inspection and not mentioned in our report, InterNACHI® may purchase your home back at the price you paid!
This is a limited guarantee provided by InterNACHI®, not by Moonlight Home Inspections®.
Important Terms & Conditions
- Eligibility: Must schedule an inspection with a currently InterNACHI® Certified Professional Inspector® (like us) before closing.
- Timeframe: Claims must be filed within 90 days post-closing.
- Covered Defects: Applies only to material defects that were present at the time of inspection but not reported, as defined by InterNACHI®’s Standards of Practice. Does not cover issues disclosed by the seller, reported by the inspector, or not required to be inspected under the Standards of Practice (see InterNACHI SOP).
- Property Types: Applies to single-family homes, manufactured homes, and modular homes. Does not apply to mobile homes on leased land, historic or landmarked homes, homes in a floodplain, or non-primary residences (such as rentals, flips, or vacation homes).
Our Role
As your inspector, our responsibility is to conduct a comprehensive and professional inspection in accordance with InterNACHI® standards. Your enrollment in the guarantee program occurs automatically through our certified status. Any claim under the guarantee must be made directly with InterNACHI®.
